Summer Spritzers
These summer spritzers are a great drink to serve at your next gathering. Light and refreshing, these spritzers are the ideal summer cocktail! For each spritzer, choose your favorite dry white wine, chilled (I went with a Sauvignon Blanc) and either club soda or sparkling water, also chilled (I used Topo Chico sparkling mineral water).

for Raspberry Lemon:

  1. Muddle together 2-3 raspberries, ½ tsp. of sugar, and about 1 tsp. lemon juice, and pour into the bottom of your favorite wine glass
  2. Add ice cubes to the glass
  3. Add 3 oz of chilled white wine and top with chilled club soda or sparkling water
  4. Add additional raspberries and lemon slices, as desired and enjoy!

for Mango + Lime:

  1. Add ½ tbsp. of mango juice and a squeeze of lime into the bottom of your favorite wine glass
  2. Add ice cubes to the glass (if you're feeling fancy and remember to prepare the day before, you can make mango ice cubes using the mango juice and add those to your glass!)
  3. Add 3 oz of chilled white wine and top with chilled club soda or sparkling water
  4. Add a slice of lime for fun and enjoy!

for Strawberry Basil:

  1. Cut a small-medium sized strawberry into thin slices and muddle together with ½ tsp. of sugar and 1-2 basil leaves, and add to your favorite wine glass.
  2. Add ice cubes to the glass
  3. Add 3 oz of chilled white wine and top with chilled club soda or sparkling water
  4. Add additional strawberry slices and basil, as desired and enjoy!

for Grapefruit + Thyme:

  1. Squeeze some juice of a grapefruit into your favorite wine glass, about 1-2 teaspoons
  2. Add ice cubes to the glass
  3. Drop some grapefruit slices or wedges on top of the ice
  4. Add 3 oz of chilled white wine and top with chilled club soda or sparkling water
  5. Garnish with grapefruit wedge and a sprig of thyme and enjoy!

Notes:

  • You can make any of these non-alcoholic by simply eliminating the wine and filling your glass with sparkling water or club soda
  • Have fun with the flavors - you can't mess these up! Add as much or as little of the flavors as you like or have fun inventing your own combination of flavors.
